A calmer workday. A clearer handoff.
The OBX Ready tool is a private operations workspace for our cleaning business. It connects the details of a quote with the property, schedule and crew so the work can move forward without rebuilding the same information each time.

The Challenge
Keep the job together from the beginning.
A cleaning quote is more than a price. It includes service, property size, workload, extras, timing and instructions that need to stay together as the job changes.
The owner and crew also need different views. The owner manages the customer quote and assignment; cleaners need relevant work details, schedule and offered pay.
The challenge was to make those responsibilities clear in a tool that can be used on a phone.
The Approach
Build around the actual handoff.
The workflow connects each stage of a job:
- Start with a saved house profile.
- Choose the service and property size.
- Keep extras beside the quote summary.
- Save the quote and its notes.
- Review requests for an open job.
- Confirm the crew and prepare a work order.
The demo focuses on the redesigned cleaner experience and owner approval using a fictional property and cleaner. No notifications, bookings or real assignments are made.

The Interface
Less to scan. More clarity.
The latest cleaner redesign uses a coastal background, translucent cards and a focused home screen. Availability and nearby work lead into one job opportunity, with a Cleaner/Admin switch and bottom navigation.
The cleaner view focuses on availability, a job opportunity, the schedule and offered pay. The demo presents that separation without including customer contact information or access instructions.
The Building Process
Move beyond an isolated estimator.
The project grew from a quote and field-sheet workflow into an operations dashboard with quote history, folders, house and cleaner profiles, work orders and open-job requests.
Building it required thinking through the transition between saved information and responsibility: who sees the job, who requests it and who gives the final approval.
Where It Stands
The OBX Ready tool is a private business tool being developed and tested. It is separate from the OBX Ready brand and website case study.
This public demonstration is an independent simulation. Prices, property names, cleaner profiles and job details are examples, not a service offer or live business records.
The original application code, pricing implementation, customer records, access notes, credentials and notification services are outside this page.

The Takeaway
The OBX Ready tool applies interface design to an everyday operations problem: keeping the right details together and making the next handoff clear.
