Turning a scattered thought into a clear next step.
Wispie is a private AI companion we use and are actively testing. The idea is to help a thought become something useful: a task, an idea, a plan or a next step, with a character that makes the process feel approachable.

The Challenge
Help a thought become an action.
The challenge was to make capturing a thought useful beyond simply storing it. Wispie needed to understand the intent, keep the important context and show a clear next step.
A reminder, a question and a new idea can sound similar at first. The interface needed to make Wispie’s progress visible while the workflow determined what the thought needed.
That shaped both the product flow and the character’s animated states.
The Approach
Build around the path from thought to outcome.
The experience follows a simple path, with Work and Personal spaces keeping different kinds of context organized:
- Capture a thought.
- Understand the intent.
- Preserve the useful context.
- Ask for a missing detail when needed.
- Show the proposed result.
- Turn it into an action or task.
The real tool supports voice and text. This public walkthrough uses fictional dialogue and temporary examples so visitors can explore the design without connecting to the private app.

The Character + Interface
A character that shows what is happening.
This case study presents Wispie’s original dark card interface from before the later light redesign, including its logo icon, Work and Personal cards and workspace menu.
Wispie’s animations communicate idle, listening, thinking, searching, working and completion. The character gives the interaction a visible rhythm while the on-screen dialogue explains what the app does.
What Building It Taught Me
Making the workflow feel dependable.
Building Wispie meant working through voice compatibility, follow-up intent, repeated reads and the difference between saving information and acting on it.
Those lessons shaped the dialogue, status feedback and action previews. The design needed to make the next step understandable while keeping the original thought accessible.
Where It Stands
Wispie is a private tool we use, and it is currently in active testing. It is not a public app at this stage.
This case study shows the design and building process. The walkthrough uses fictional information and scripted outcomes, with no connection to our private accounts, integrations or production data.
The public demonstration is a separate presentation of the interface. The original app code, private workflows and credentials stay outside this page.

The Takeaway
Wispie brings product thinking, interface design and character animation together around one goal: helping a person move from a scattered thought to a clear next step.
